Our Technical Resource Centre has various specialised laboratories that can offer the following: 
Chemistry Laboratory
This well-equipped Chemistry laboratory does comprehensive analyses on routine water samples. The well trained staff are knowledgeable on water-related problems and can provide expert advice to our Sales Technologists and Customers.
The following analyses are done on a regular bases:

Water analysis: pH, Conductivity, Suspended solids, Dissolved solids, COD, Cation’s (Na, K, Ca, Mg, and more) Anion’s (Cl, SO4, and more)

Reposit analysis: ImproChem has extensive experience in the analyses and interpretation of waterborne deposits.

Corrosion Coupon analyses: Corrosion coupons are analysed according to ASTIM G1-03 or coupons are sandblasted according to the GE recommended specifications. The analyses include pit depth and photos of the coupon before and after cleaning.

Resin Analysis: Resin is evaluated to determine life expectancy, the types of foulants are identified and cleaning procedures evaluated.

 Membrane autopsy’s: Membrane failures are investigated and cleaning options evaluated.

Pilot cooling tower studies: Our Research Facility has a fully functional Pilot Cooling system, equipped with state of the art monitoring equipment to evaluate the performance of chemical treatment programs.

Metallographic failures analyses: The metal structure is evaluated to determine the failure mechanism.
Microbiological Laboratory
Our Microbiologists work closely with our Sales Technologists and Marketing teams in order to provide specific Microbiological assistance. The microbiology laboratory is equipped to perform water analyses and microbiological deposit evaluations. A wide range of methods are employed for the detection and enumeration of microorganisms in various water and sewage samples.
